SynkTerms of Use
These terms are an agreement between you and CodeRaksh (operated by Sandeep Kumar; "we", "us"), the developer of Synk: Music Together ("Synk"). By using Synk you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
1. Who can use Synk
You must be at least 18 years old. You are responsible for your account and for everything done with it.
2. The service
Synk lets you listen to music with other people in rooms, chat, and talk in huddles. Music comes from third parties: videos from YouTube and radio from stations listed in the Radio Browser directory. We don't own or control that content and can't promise it will always be available. YouTube features are provided through YouTube API Services, and by using them you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service.
We may change, add or remove features, and change the limits of the free plan, at any time.
3. Your content and behaviour
You are responsible for what you post: usernames, room names, playlist names, messages and anything you say or show in a huddle. You keep ownership of it, and you give us permission to store and display it in Synk so the app can work.
Don't use Synk to:
- harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone;
- post hateful, sexually explicit, violent or illegal content, or anything that exploits children;
- spam, advertise, or share malware or scam links;
- record or share other people's huddles without their consent;
- break the law, infringe someone's rights, or interfere with the app or other users.
We may remove content, close rooms, or suspend or delete accounts that break these rules. To report a user or content, email sundeepgupta027@gmail.com with the room name and username.
4. Synk Pro subscriptions
- Synk Pro is offered as weekly, monthly and 3-month plans. The price and billing period are shown before you buy.
- Payment and renewal: you pay through Google Play (or the App Store on iPhone). Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period and you are charged again, unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- Free trials: if a plan offers a free trial, you won't be charged during the trial. When it ends, the paid subscription starts automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends. A trial may include only some Pro features; the rest unlock with your first payment. Each account can use a trial once.
- Cancel: in the Play Store, go to Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Synk (on iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions). You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for.
- Deleting your account or uninstalling the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it in the store first.
- Refunds are handled under the Google Play refund policy (or Apple's). Contact us if something went wrong and we will help.
- If prices change, the store tells you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
5. Ads
On the free plan you may choose to watch a rewarded ad to unlock an action. Ads are provided by Google AdMob and only appear when you choose to watch one.
6. Our app
The Synk app, name, logo and design belong to us. You may use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes. Don't copy, modify, reverse engineer or resell it.
7. Disclaimers and liability
Synk is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but don't guarantee that it will always be available, error-free or in sync. We are not responsible for content posted by users or provided by third parties. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Synk and delete your account at any time (see Delete your account). We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Jalandhar, Punjab have jurisdiction over any dispute.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app. Continuing to use Synk after that means you accept the new terms.
